Times Square Terror Suspect

Let me get this straight...

This Faisal Shahzad guy (Times Square attempted bomber):

* Purchased a house in an upper-middle class neighborhood in Bridgeport, Conn.
* Boarded a plane for Dubai
* Paid $1,300 cash for an SUV
* Enrolled in the University of Bridgeport for an MBA in 2005.
* Had his apartment remodeled
* Was granted a work visa

...and yet there's absolutely no mention of what he did for a living, his employment status, his funding source, ect. from the press.

If you're going to denote his college and $218,400 home, I would think it's at least worth mentioning whether or not he worked in xyz position at xyz company.

Somebody, please FOLLOW THE MONEY!

And yes, the vendors are heroes. You'd be surprised at the number of New Yorkers who aren't aware of their surroundings. This is classic...

Illiterate Hatred

Hi.

Secret:
When I get really REALLY BORED, I like to browse through all the illiterate hatred on the comment section of Yahoo! News and other news outlets. It is inversely entertaining and terrifying that some of these ubiquitous views run rampant.

I believe the reporters understand this phenomenon which may explain why they resolve to poor journalism, irrelevant titles and exaggerating every story to 10x magnification in an effort to draw emotions and comments…and emotional comments.  Some are simply bad reporters.

The following is my supercilious list of my Top 10 Favorite Category of Posters:

10. "Let's nuke 'em to the Stone Age!" highly inarticulate belligerents.

9. “Who is dumber: Bush or Obama?” great debaters.

8. Tie: Islam is all about violence. Quotes the Holy Quran;

Christianity is guilty of violence, too. Quotes the Holy Bible and/or historical facts.

7. Tie: Liberals are too liberal to know what's really going on in this country;

Conservatives are too conservative to know what's really going on in this country.

6. The Zionists know the full story. The Jew-owned media is keeping it from us.

5. Calling someone an "idiot" while, too, committing spelling and grammatical mishaps. Highlighting the poor spelling of a previous poster in a comment containing misspelled words. (See “to/too”, “your/you’re”)

4. Tie: The posters of super random racially-charged comments;

The bait-eaters of super random racially-charged comments that ignite the always reliable Internet Race Wars (IRW).

3. Posting comments for no other purpose than to complain about receiving low ratings only to receive additional fresh low ratings.

2. Posing as someone of a different race, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, etc. to better attract unbelievers to your message…and failing miserably to conceal your plot.

And finally,
1. The poster who actually leaves an intelligent factually accurate argument…in 5-paragraph essay form!

You are simply guilty by association.  Moreover, I find these sorts of sermons to be a senseless ego-boosting activity. [Ouchies!]

While it is a great to express your views and some of these comments may hold weight in a debate, 9 out of 10 times, they are completely irrelevant to the story.

Rihanna Gives Us the Finger!

So I checked out the "Run This Town" video the other day by Jay-Z featuring Rihanna and Kanye West.

Now, I'm not making this up and it's no secret: There are tons and tons of studies done on the ways in which images and sounds record into our subconscious minds and how they influence us.

I know Jay-Z is trying to usher in the "all-black everything" trend and the very first thing that caught my attention in this video is the BIG ADIDAS SHOE...so big you can taste the stripes.

While I don't consider this a subliminal message because the adidas shoe is soooooo visible, I'm really surprised everyone I spoke to didn't notice it.  It even dropped with the beat and Jay-Z clearly in the background.  The next time you watch "Run This Town" and you feel like purchasing a pair of black adidas, remember who told you so haha.

Moving on...What's better than all-black everything?  Rihanna giving us the digitus impudicus in all-black everything!

That's right.  The middle finger.  Both of them at once.  This happened so fast, we had to quadruple check it.

Scuba Toothbrush

I know you'd much rather read about some cool jeans or sneakers...

BUT

Imagine working up a minty cool massage...

of tingly thick exfoliating lather...

with a large soft loofah...

all over your body...

IN YOUR MOUTH!

I walked into a Duane Reade in TriBeCa the other day with the simple goal of attaining a tiny container of dental floss and walked out with over $80 worth of purchases. This was one of them: a Radius Scuba toothbrush at about $8.

After picking out floss, I decided I needed a new toothbrush according to the 3 months rule, though contested. As extraneous as it may sound, the primary reason I purchased this toothbrush is because of suggestions to break routines for a healthy brain, particularly in morning activities. For example, waking up to the smell of oranges instead of the usual coffee is apparently good for your brain. So is traveling a new route to school or work as it challenges you in different ways. For this reason, I figured an oversized bright yellow toothbrush would do more good than harm.

The label on the packaging reminds you to "be gentle as plaque is a sticky film and removal does not require much pressure." Follow this simple instruction and you'll have an amazing brushing experience and the smoothest....SMOOTHEST teeth.

Katy Perry Joins The Lady Gaga Hermaphrodite Conspiracy Theory

Katy Perry joins the Lady Gaga Hermaphrodite Conspiracy Theory...

Perry told the Daily Mirror:

"Oh please, it's all very calculated.

"She knows what she's doing. She put something in her knickers, a mini strap-on. Bless her if she does have a d*** but I am certain she doesn't."

...or did she?!

MTV News reports:

Perry's comment about the bizarre bulge got picked up pretty much everywhere, leading many die-hard Gaga fans to label her "jealous," "annoying" and "a hater" (among other things).

The only problem? Turns out Perry probably didn't say anything about Gaga or her (supposed) two sets of genitalia.

Hmm...funny. No one seems to care about the hermaphrodites in all of this. They are people, too. Hermaphrodites should be able to be rock stars!
